Well. @_@ Been an awfully long time. I don't really have anything to say...so I'll just mention that I'm watching MadTV, and say one thing. Mmmmmmm, Rebecca Romajin-Stamos. Mmmm.

Ah got to see Van Helsing on Friday~~ X3 Go see it. Now. Everyone. I demand it. ...Okay, so I admit it wasn't as omfgawesomekhdfkiehflqfi as I thought it would be, but it was still pretty fucking awesome. I lurrrrrved it muchly. And once again, a movie has made me rethink my stance on "Goddamn werewolves nyar >O" Because the werewolves in VH were purdy dang kewl. And of course, I mean...Hugh Jackman. Yeah. I'm not extremely fond of Kate Beckinsale, and she was extraordinarily useless in that movie. She was the obligatory love interest. But yeah. Overall, it was pretty freaking cool. So go see it. Right now. Run.

Yeah, so prom was okay. Boring for the most part. Dinner was fun and bowling was fun, but prom itself was just depressing. I spent the whole time worrying about Dani. The day before I had read her journal entry that ranted about me and how annoying I was, so I was on edge all night trying not to say the wrong thing or get too close, even though I really wanted to hug her and tell her how beautiful she looked. And she did look fucking beautiful. But I didn't say anything. I just sat there and smiled at Peaches and Jess. My only slow dance all night was with Fay. I meant to shanghai Sean and dance with him because he was so damn cute, but I heard he was feeling sick, so I didn't want to drag him away from Shannon.
And watching Peaches bowl is just...funny. Funny. He was being cute too. I stole some of his nachos at the bowling alley. Nyar.
I was happy, my mommy said that it looked like I had lost weight since the last time I wore my dress. Squee. n.n Anyway.
Saturday morning was spent shopping. First stop was Hawsey's. Hoorae!
Books I bought:(In no particular order)
Les Misérables - Victor Hugo
Animal Farm - George Orwell
The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood
Frankenstein - Mary Shelley
Othello - William Shakespeare
The Chosen - Chaim Potok
1984 - George Orwell(I couldn't find my copy)
The Three Musketeers - Alexandre Dumas
Just So Stories - Rudyard Kipling
Anna Christie/The Emperor Jones/The Hairy Ape - Eugene O'Neill
Ten Plays - Euripides
And, thanks to the wonder that is Hawsey's, I got all that for about $35. Hoorae! I think I'll read Animal Farm, The Hairy Ape(the only reason I bought that book--it's a one-act play, you can't buy it by itself), Medea(the reason I bought the Ten Plays by Euripides), and Just So Stories first, since they're very short. I'm reading Dracula now, but I'm already almost halfway finished. I really want to read Les Misérables. I think that'll be the first long(and I mean LONG) one I read. But then...1984...The Three Musketeers... T_T Why must all of these books be so good? I want to read them all at once! Ach! T_T I need more time in a day. I still have The Picture of Dorian Gray knocking about the room too, and the copy of Madame Bovary that Mrs Gross lent me...and she was urging me to take a copy of Lord of the Flies... *sigh* Screw time, I just need a bigger bookcase.
